Preschool story time classes are geared to children ages 4-5 years old. Classes last 30 minutes and include stories, tips on preparing children for school, finger plays, songs, and occasionally a craft. Siblings are always welcome. This event is free and open to the public.

YRMC Program – Inflammation and Nutrition & Exercise Concepts
The Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E. Civic Circle) is partnering with the YRMC (Yavapai Regional Medical Center) Speakers Bureau to bring a double event: Inflammation and Nutrition & Exercise Concepts. Inflammation has been an indicator of illness and injury for thousands of years. Mary Treasure –DTR, will help you learn the role of chronic inflammation in the development of the disease process and review food nutrients in promoting and inhibiting inflammation. Plus, Tami Tuma, YRMC Exercise Physiologist, Health Coach and Personal Trainer, will discuss the recommendations of exercise, exercise benefits and guidelines.
