REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN - Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E. Civic Circle Dr) is again offering Windows 10 (Tuesdays, October 9, 16, 23 & 30 from 11am-1pm). Windows 10 represents a new approach to computing between devices for Microsoft. This course will walk you through the innovative changes introduced with Windows 10. Each student in a lab setting will learn the basics of managing Windows 10 settings, how to navigate and customize the Start menu, quickly find and install apps from the Microsoft Store, add User Accounts, enable and personalize Cortana , and use OneDrive to save files to the cloud. This Windows 10 class assumes the student has some experience of a previous version of Windows. Class numbers are limited so please register online at pvlib.net, Attend, Classes. VA Workshop – Home Based Primary Care & Medical Foster Homes
Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 East Civic Circle) will be hosting the next in our VA Workshops. The workshop will be held October 9 @ 5 – 6:30 pm in the Glassford Hill Room. The speakers will be Roxanne Carlson and Melonie Blair-Fabian. They will be covering:
• What is Home Based Primary Care (HBPC)? What is their goal?
• How HBPC is there for the home caregiver and more.
• HBPC is an acceptable alternative to hospitalization, nursing home care, emergency room and other outpatient clinic visits.
• What is the Medical Foster Home Program (MFHP)?
• The MFHP is a ‘Home-like” environment for those seeking an alternative to nursing home placement.
• The many benefits of both programs will be explained and their criteria will be shared.

Classes will be conducted every Tuesday, from 6-7:30 pm in the Children's Program Room and all who need language practice in an informal setting are encouraged to participate. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn new vocabulary, practice conversational skills, and build confidence in language usage through fun and interactive activities.
